Job Description :

• Monitor and enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) practices at site for civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
• Conduct incoming material inspections for structural steel, fasteners, cables, switchgear, mounting systems, and other project materials.
• Verify execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Perform stage-wise inspections for foundations, structures, module mounting, earthing, cabling, terminations, and testing activities.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection checklists, test reports, material inspection reports, and quality records for audits and handover.
• Coordinate with execution, design, and customer inspection teams for joint inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, client, and safety quality standards at site.
• Support pre-commissioning, testing, and final quality certification before project handover.
• Maintain Daily Quality Reports (DQRs) and contribute to overall project MIS.
• Proven experience in quality control for rooftop solar or industrial EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of civil foundations, structural erection, module mounting systems, and electrical installation practices.
• Ability to interpret GFC drawings, quality standards, inspection & test plans (ITPs).
• Knowledge of IS codes, IEC standards, and solar industry best practices.
• Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work full-time at a rooftop solar project site in Jamnagar.
• Exposure to customer and third-party inspections.
• Knowledge of earthing systems, insulation resistance testing, continuity tests, and torque audits.
• Familiarity with PEB, RCC, and metal rooftop installations.
• Experience in ISO 9001 quality management systems is an added advantage.
