Qualification : MinimumQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with specialization in structural design, project management or engineering principles from a reputed university. Master’s in Structural or Civil domain with specialization in advanced structural analysis, Design techniques, or project execution skills is preferred.roficiency in technical tools & Software such as: o Auto CAD, Civil3D, STAAD Pro, SOLIDWORKS o LPILE, Geo Studio, PLAXIS Expertise in technical skills such as: Job Description Page3of 3 o Civil Infrastructure Design o Foundation systems (shallow, deep, pile, raft) o Load analysis (wind, seismic, dynamic) o Geo technical Integration (Soil-structure interaction, Slope Stability & Earthworks Planning) o Review and interpretation of different civil studies o Risk Identification & Mitigation

Job Description :
To act as Civil & Structural BoP Design Expert-Wind / BESS / PV / Substation & Transmission
in renewable projects (Wind, Solar PV and BESS) including preparation of in-house Basic
design Engineering package, review & validation of external design documents in coordination
with other relevant stakeholders providing complete Basic design deliverables and technical
support in all Renewable projects.
Fully focused on optimizing the overall project cost, while ensuring quality and long-term
reliability of the assets.

Civil & Structural Engineering Deliverables:
Produce drawings, design calculation notes,
and BOQ according to standards for ACWA
Power’s main projects and asset
modifications
BoP Civil & Structural Design: Design and
detail the civil and structural components of
the BoP scope including foundation systems,
structural steel & RCC elements, cable
trenches, retaining walls, fences & enclosures,
Structural detailing and reinforcement
layouts ensuring robust engineering analysis
and compliance with project standards.
Basic Engineering & FEED Package: Contribute
to the preparation of Basic Engineering and
FEED documents in coordination with various
technology experts.
Feasibility Study Assessments: Conduct
technical assessments of feasibility studies to
determine optimal design and BOM for
competitive pricing and reliable contractor
offers.
Civil Infrastructure Design: Prepare and deliver
detailed civil design packages including
access roads, storm water drainage systems,
crane pad layouts, and underground cable
trenches, ensuring compliance with projects
specifications and constructability standards.
Design Validation: Validate and approve
outsourced Basic Design and FEED packages
from EPC sor external firms, ensuring
compliance with projects pecs and quality
standards.
Technical Reviews & Handover: Update
project reviews before bidding, ensuring design
stability and smooth handover to EPC
contractors and Asset Management.
Project Execution Support: Lead basic
engineering packages for tasks outside EPC
scope or plant modifications, address key issues,
and develop detailed design capabilities
under the EPCM strategy if needed.
Document Management: Oversee registration,
storage, tracking, and version control of
documents, and train users on intranet features
for uploading and locating information.
Continuous Improvement: Manage and
motivate the team to drive and implement
change initiatives and projects according to
organizational standards.
EPC Design Guidance: Provide guidance to
EPCs on optimized design based on Owner’s
Technical Specifications (OTS) and RFP
requirements.
Bid & Investment Support: Update technical
reviews forbids, ensure design stability through KT
to EPC and Asset Management, and assist in
preparing technical summaries for Investment
Committee during the final development
phase
Policies & Procedures: Implement departmental
policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to
maintain standards and service levels for
customers and stakeholders.
Adhoc support to the management: Perform
other related duties or assignments as
directed
