Experience Required : • 15+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC design for building services. • Strong exposure to Middle Eastern projects. • Proficiency in tools such as HAP, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, load calculations, ducting, chilled/hot water systems, and energy efficiency practices. • Familiarity with Green Building standards (LEED, Mostadam and Estidama, etc.) is an advantage. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Job Description :
- Lead the HVAC design and engineering for complex building projects (commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use developments).
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including concept design, scheme design, detailed design, tendering, and construction period design support.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.) and Middle Eastern regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, architecture, structural, ID, specialist services such as Kitchen & Laundry, and BIM teams).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and design teams.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, BOQs, quality assurance documentation, and specifications.
- Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors for design discussions and project delivery.
- Support business development through technical proposals and client presentations. Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure usage of relevant latest software’s to achieve efficiency in design.
- Support skills development of team by conducting surveys and proposing trainings.
